Data we may process
- identity and contact details supplied in enquiries, complaints, FOI requests and privacy requests;
- recruitment information, qualifications and uploaded application records;
- newsletter choices and communication history;
- support tickets, chat messages and service correspondence;
- technical security records such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and administrative audit logs.
Purposes and lawful bases
We process data where necessary to perform a legal or public-interest function, comply with a legal obligation, respond to a request, administer a contract or recruitment process, protect systems and records, or where you have given valid consent. Optional newsletter and analytics processing can be withdrawn.
Data protection principles
Personal data should be processed lawfully, fairly and transparently; collected for specified purposes; limited to what is necessary; kept accurate; retained only as required; and protected with appropriate organisational and technical safeguards.
Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions and exemptions, you may request information about processing, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal, or human review of a solely automated decision. Use the Data Rights Request form. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Sharing and international transfers
Access is limited to authorised officers and contracted service providers that need the information for an approved purpose. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or a competent authority. Any transfer outside Nigeria must use an applicable safeguard or other lawful transfer mechanism.
Security and incidents
Controls include role-based administration, email OTP, secure sessions, activity logging, rate limits, upload controls, backups and encrypted web transport. No system is risk-free. Suspected privacy incidents should be reported promptly to the contact above.
